Subjects Taught
Fourth Grade

I am a native to Grand Bay and attended Castlen Elementary and Mobile County (MoCo) High School.  I received my Batchelor's degree in Elementary Education at The University of South Alabama.  My Master's degree in Elementary Education was at Spring Hill College.

My teaching experience has been all in the Grand Bay area.  My first year of teaching was way back in 1997 and teaching 5th grade at Castlen Elementary.  I then moved down to teaching 4th grade the following year.  I have been teaching 4th grade ever since and absolutely wouldn't have it any other way!  I LOVE my 4th graders!  I taught at Castlen for 5 more years, and then I moved to the "brand new" Breitling Elementary School.  I have been teaching at Breitling since it opened in 2003.  Altogether I have 19 years of experience.

I am a native to Grand Bay, and most of my family still lives in the Grand Bay area.  I have two beautiful daughters named Sydnee and Ema.  Sydnee is currently a sophomore and attends Bryant High School.  Ema is a first grader at Breitling and is in Mrs. Munday's class.  I love watching college football.  I am a HUGE Alabama fan!  ROLL TIDE! Cooking is a joy to me.  I am always interested in watching Food Network and trying out new recipes on Pinterest.  I love watching movies, going to the beach, shopping, traveling, and spending time with my girls, family, and friends.  Teaching my fourth graders is a passion of mine.  Each and every day, I want to make a difference in my students' lives. I also want each child in my class to know Ms. Bacon truly cares about each one of them.
